The Fire HD 10 is pretty fast but the 10 plus has an even faster processor. This is thanks to its 4GB RAM. The internal storage is also vast as it has two options – 32 and 64 GB. It also has an SD slot so you can add more storage externally if you ever run out of space.

It has a great battery life and it’s generally the best option available at the moment. However, like every other Fire HD tablet, you can’t install as many apps from Google Play. But if you’re already used to Prime and its offerings, this is a great investment.

Price:  $204.99 (64GB) and $164.99 (32GB)

Being an upgrade from the 2019 model, this Fire HD 10 comes with a brighter display and an extra 1GB RAM. It’s also similar to the Fire HD 10 pro’s design. This model comes in two different versions – 32GB and 64GB internal storage. Both are expandable to up to 1TB thanks to the MicroSD slot.

Unfortunately, none of the Google Apps work on the Fire HD 10. However, you have access to the Fire OS and all its accompanying features on the app store. It’s slightly cheaper than the 10 Pro so if you can afford a few extra, we recommend opting for the latter because of its faster processor and wireless charging.

Price: $199.99

Like every other tablet on this list, getting access to Google Playstore Apps is almost impossible. We also love that the web browser has controls so you as a guardian can block specific websites. Finally, your kids can make voice and video calls to specific contacts you’ve allowed.

Need something for younger kids and not pre-teens? Then the Fire HD 10 Kids edition should be your first choice. It’s pretty much the Fire HD 10 kids pro but for children between ages 3-7. So it’s more kid-friendly.

This model comes with built-in parental controls so you can track what your kids do with the device. In this case, being unable to access Google Play Store apps can be very helpful since it further prevents them from accessing unapproved apps.

It’s perfect for watching videos and since the internal storage is expandable with Micro SDD, you can be sure to save as many more videos. It also comes with a more durable design to withstand spills, falls, and games.

The Fire HD 8 Plus is also an upgrade from the Fire HD 8. However, with more features like wireless charging, 3GB RAM, and a 9W power adapter, it has a more durable offering. The design is also lighter and its screen has an aluminosilicate glass.

Just like the 8, it has a Hexa-core processor and it’s faster than the previous Fire HD Plus. In addition to all the features of the Fire HD 8, this model comes with a show mode where you can get a full-screen experience. You can also enable the voice assistant and ask Alexa for news, updates, and tasks.
