Until now, PC users had to use iTunes or a web browser either to access the Apple Music service. The Apple Music service can now be accessed on Windows PC via the official Apple Music app.

While the official Apple Music app is good news, the Apple Music app is compatible with Windows 11 only. Unfortunately, this means that Windows 10 users cannot install and use it.

Apple Music available for Windows 10?

Sadly, Apple Music is not currently available for Windows 10. We are unsure if and when the Apple Music app will be available for Windows 10.

As you might have observed, the Apple Music app does appear in the Windows 10 Store. However, the page shows a “The version of Windows on your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for this product” message.

The system requirements section of the Apple Music app also clearly mentions that Windows 11 version 22621.0 or higher is required. So, the chances of the Apple Music app coming to Windows 10 are slim.

Install Apple Music in Windows 10?

While there is no option to install the Apple Music app in Windows 10, users who often access Apple Music on a Windows 10 PC can install the Apple Music website as an app using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Refer to our how to install Apple Music as an app in Windows 10 guide for directions.
