Privacy Shutter

The SimpliCam offers a unique hardware feature, designed to protect your home from prying eyes, even if someone were to hack the device itself.

As the name implies, the Privacy Shutter is a stainless steel shutter that can be remotely opened or closed from your mobile device to physically cover the lens of the SimpliCam. You can close it while you’re home or simply want privacy, ensuring that even if the device is hacked, the intruder would be unable to see through the camera.

End to End Encoding

SimpliCams communicate with the SimpliSafe system using end to end encryption (or E2EE), which is widely considered one of the most secure encryption methods currently available.
