It seems that the Windows 10 Mobile OTA update has been released for AT&T Lumia 1520 devices. This means that it doesn’t matter if you are an Insider or not, as this new update is available for all users, which can now download and install it on their mobile devices.

It is good to know that the Windows 10 Mobile OS comes with powerful universal applications, HDR, more customization features, slow-motion video capture and many other new features that were not available on the Windows Phone 8.1 OS. We have to agree that older devices that don’t have decent specifications have issues running this new OS, but it shouldn’t be any problems for the Lumia 1520 device that comes with a Snapdragon 800 processor.

However, if you didn’t receive yet the new Windows 10 Mobile OS on your AT&T Lumia 1520 device, don’t worry, because, you can manually download it from the internet and install it on your handset.

AT&T Lumia 1520: How To Manually Install Windows 10 Mobile OS

First of all, you will need to download Update Advisor from the Windows Store. This tool will tell you if your device is eligible for the Windows 10 Mobile OS update.

After downloading the Update Advisor tool, launch it and tap on “Next” in order to allow it to search for updates. If the tool tells you that the Windows 10 upgrade is available for your device, then tap on the “Enable Windows 10 upgrade” and select “Next”. Finally, the tool will tell you that your mobile device is “Ready to upgrade” and you will need to confirm by tapping on “Done”.

After following these simple steps, you will be able to head to your device’s Settings, open “Phone Update” and check for updates to start downloading the new OS on your handset. Once the download is complete, you will get a notification which tells you that the device is ready to install the Windows 10 Mobile OS.
