  • Next, open this folder path: C:\Program Files (x86)
  • If you can find an AVG folder there, right-click it and select Delete.
  • Open this folder in File Explorer: C:\Program Files
  • Select any AVG folder you find there, and click the Delete button on the Home tab.
  • Thereafter, open the Recycle Bin.
  • Click Empty Recycle Bin to clear it.

5. Clean the registry

  • Press Windows key + R and type regedit. Press Enter.
