Recently, users with PCs and mobile phones running the Creators Update were offered a fresh new cumulative update from Microsoft. Now, the company unveiled Windows 10 build 1493.1230 for PCs running the Windows 10 Anniversary update.

You can get the newest update by going to Windows Update and you can also visit Microsoft Update Catalog to manually download the update. While it doesn’t include many novelties, it certainly doesn’t include any known issues. You can get the Microsoft Update Catalog here.

Cumulative update KB4023608 for OS build 14393.1230

According to Microsoft, this is a non-security update which doesn’t include quality improvements nor any new features.  The key changes include a fix for the issue where End User Defined Characters (EUDC) were sometimes not visible in some apps. In case you installed previous updates, only the latest fixes contained in this current package will be downloaded and installed on your device.

As we already mentioned, Microsoft didn’t include any new known issues in the update and to get the stand-alone package for the update, you should visit the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

This is only a cumulative update for PCs that are running the Windows 10 operating systems and is not targeted at mobile. As a result, you should not expect any new features after the installation.

This Microsoft release for Windows 10 build 1492.1230 for PCs running the Anniversary Update was published by 4-traders and was discovered on the 27th of May, according to statistical data reports.
