Microsoft’s Build 2016 conference has finally started. We expect a lot of news about Windows 10, HoloLens, Xbox, and more from Microsoft, so every enthusiast will have his eyes pointed at the event for every possible announcement.

After Satya Nadella’s opening words, Microsoft’s Executive Vice President of the Windows and Devices Group Terry Myerson hit the stage and talked about the impact Windows 10 has had on PC users since its release in July. Myerson first said that Windows 10 is now being used by more than 270 million users around the world, and after that announced a new update — an update we haven’t heard about until now.

The Windows 10 Anniversary update will come this summer, free for all users of Windows 10. The update will finally introduce Windows 10 apps to Xbox One. In other words, something that we’ve talked about a lot in last few weeks has been finally confirmed by Microsoft. The update will also introduce improved ink sensors to Windows 10-powered touch devices and some more abilities to Microsoft’s upcoming VR device, HoloLens.
