Fans can buy Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for $59.99 from the Windows Store or Steam. However, there’s a catch: there is no no cross-compatibility between Windows 10 and Steam versions of the game. This means that the gamers who purchased Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare via the Windows store won’t be able to battle online with Steam gamers.
This piece of information is available on Activision’s website, but there is no such mention on the Windows Store. To make things worse, there is no Xbox Play Anywhere compatibility for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare either. In other words, if you purchase the game for Windows 10 from the Windows Store, you will only be able to play on your PC. If you purchase it on Xbox One, you’ll be able to play it only on your Xbox One console.
