To use the Guard feature with your Echo Show 10, all you have to do is say, “Alexa, I’m leaving” on your way you the door, and it will activate on its own. Any noises, such as footsteps, glass breaking, and a dog barking, will prompt Alexa to send you an alert.
When you tap the alert on your phone, you’ll immediately “drop-in” to your Alexa camera’s view. In the case of the 3rd generation Echo Show 10, you can slide your finger on the screen to turn the camera completely around so that you can see all of your surroundings.
