When you install or setup Windows 10, you’re asked to select a region or country that you are currently in. Based on your currently selected location, the Windows Store app displays apps and app prices for the selected location or country.

For instance, if you select the United States as your current location, then Windows Store will display apps available for install or purchase in the United States only. To purchase an app, you need to use one of the payment methods available for the selected location or country only.

If the Store app is showing app prices in a different currency than you’re familiar with or if you want to install an app that is not available for your country or region, then you need to do change the Windows Store country or region.
