Popular enterprise service provider, Citrix announced  that it will fully support Windows 10, even beforethe operating system comes out. As a part of Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, Citrix will help partners to move to Windows 10, as well as support its software offering.

The first move Citrix is going to make is releasing its Citrix Receiver app, which will be available on Windows 10 launch day, July 29th. This app will allow Citrix’s employees to stream virtual desktops to each other. The company also said that it will release a Universal app for Receiver, which will support the touch input, and will be compatible with Microsoft’s upcoming Continuum feature.

Another addition is AppDNA support for Windows 10, which will allow smoother transition for companies who want to upgrade to Windows 10. AppDNA is a part of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop Platinum line, and it will be available for free for first year of using to all Citrix’s partners. Citrix believes that this will help clients to port their apps faster and with more reliability.

The third big announcement from Citrix is releasing of a technical preview of the Windows 10 Virtual Delivery Agent. This feature allows you to share Windows 10 images via XenDesktop. This will allow partners to begin testing Windows 10 for VDI deployments, even before the official release of the operating system.

Another thing that is possible now is the ability to use XenApp to deliver a Windows Universal app through the receiver. This wasn’t possible in Windows 8.1, as you only were able to stream Win32 applications, but not WinRT. Citrix obviously saw the huge potential Windows 10 has, so the company decided to provide the support for the system weeks before the release of its final version.
