We know that it’s possible to use Windows 10 PC’s keyboard as a mouse. We know that it’s possible to use the virtual touchpad. PC users also know that we can use a keyboard and mouse to control multiple PCs. But did you know that it’s possible to control your PC’s keyboard and mouse using your eyes?

Yes, you will soon be able to control your Windows 10 PC using your mouse. You will be able to type by dwelling at the characters and perform a click by moving your eyes.

In Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (version 1709), Microsoft has introduced a new feature to control your Windows 10 device using your eye.

Remember that your current PC might not support this new eye control feature as it requires a compatible eye tracker. If your PC comes with an eye tracker, you need to turn on the Eye control feature first. Here is how to do that. Currently, Eye tracker works with select Tobli hardware.

Turning Eye control on or off

Step 1: Open Settings app. Navigate to Ease of Access > Other options > Eye control.

Step 2: Turn on Eye control to enable the same.

When you turn on the Eye control, the Eye control launchpad will appear on your screen. The launchpad is the central place to access all Eye control features.

To control your PC’s mouse using Eye control feature, select mouse from the launchpad on the screen. Move your eyes on the screen where you want to place the cursor and make a click.

Similarly, to control the keyboard, select keyboard from the launchpad and dwell at the characters you want to type.

In addition to keyboard and mouse control, you can use Eye control tool to text-to-speech.

Overall, Eye control is a brilliant feature to control your PC. The feature is in the early stage and might get more functionalities in future.
