Cortana Notifications Now Show Up In Action Center On Windows 10 Mobile

The latest preview build for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview brought enhancements to some of the most important features of the OS. Two features that probably received the biggest upgrade are Cortana and Action Center, with a common update being Cortana notifications in the Action Center.

From now on, whenever Cortana reminds you about an appointment, event, or anything else, you’ll receive a notification in the Action Center. Cortana other new features are also represented with this update. For example, if you set a ‘Photo reminder’ with Cortana, the picture will also be shown in the Action Center when she reminds you about it. If you accidentally set a reminder about two meetings for the same time and cause a scheduling conflict, Cortana will also send you a notification telling you as much. Put simply, Cortana will be much more communicative about anything you tell her to do.

You don’t have to do anything to activate Cortana notifications in the Action Center: the only requirement is running build 14322. Microsoft promised even more Cortana improvements to come in future builds regarding both cross-platform compatibility and internal compatibility with other features and apps of Windows 10 Mobile.
