It’s really sad that we don’t have yet an official Youtube app on the Windows Store, so for those looking for an alternative, Dailymotion is the first one which comes to my mind.
The official Dailymotion app has been available in the Windows Store for Windows 8 users for quite a while, but recently it’s received what seems to be a major update. And, indeed, after performing the update, I can say that it’s much better. According to the release note, the app now comes with abetter player with HD support, up to HD 1080p. Also, it has a redesigned homescreen, which is much easier to navigate and, as usual, a good number of other bug fixes and performance optimizations have been put in place.
